The left is now demanding that white people refrain from sharing Oprah reaction memes because it commits “digital blackface.”

Oprah reaction memes went viral on social media after the billionaire TV host interviewed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle last Sunday.

But a far-left outfit called The Slow Factory Foundation released a statement condemning the use of Oprah memes by white people.

“Performing Blackness, be it IRL or online, is not an acceptable form of expressing reaction or dissatisfaction, especially not in exchange for likes and retweets,” the radical organization wrote on Instagram earlier this week.

“Since the #MeghanandHarry interview on Oprah, we’ve been seeing a lot of digital blackface infractions with a few of Oprah’s reaction gifs and images going viral, but that doesn’t mean you should be using them.”

Users on social media were quick to ridicule the idea of racially misappropriating Oprah memes.

Coincidentally, the disastrous Harry/Meghan interview itself centered on identity politics and elitist hypocrisy, with Markle accusing the Royals of questioning “how dark” her and Prince Harry’s son Archie’s skin was going to be before he was born.
